The Education Committee consists of 7 volunteer members from the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe who meet monthly to review financial aid applications and support the educational advancement of tribal members and their descendants.
We offer a variety of funding options for your educational pursuits. Financial aid covers tuition and books.

Education Assistance Agreement
Required for all financial assistance recipients. Outlines repayment terms if the program is not completed.
Community / Junior College Application
Award not to exceed $5,000 per semester. Requires 2.0 GPA. Must submit transcripts & class schedule. Apply once per semester.
Vocational Training School Application
Award not to exceed $6,000 per 6-month period for Las Vegas vocational schools. Must provide proof of acceptance and training schedule.
Academic Trip Application
Award not to exceed $1,000 per year. Includes campus tours (1 student + 1 chaperone). A one-page essay due 2–3 weeks after the trip.
Summer School Application
Award not to exceed $1,000 per year. Requires proof of registration, class schedule, and official transcripts. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA (C average or higher) to avoid repayment.

Additional Events: The Committee also organizes holiday parties and celebrates with members of the Tribe and their families throughout the year. Check back for announcements about upcoming community gatherings.
Members of the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe are welcome to attend and share their opinions during open discussions, though public attendance is not permitted.
